In this class, you'll learn how to turn fresh flowers and foliage into everlasting works of art through the process of flower pressing.

Class Description:

In this engaging class, you’ll learn all about the process of flower pressing. This is a wonderful way to capture and preserve the inherent beauty of nature to decorate items such as jewelry, wall art, greeting cards, and more!

I’ll talk about the best plants to work with, how to prep them for the press, and demonstrate both quick and traditional methods of pressing. This includes techniques using items you already have around the house.

You’ll then spend the remainder of the workshop creating works of art with the flowers and leaves already pressed for you and included in the kit. You'll learn tips on working with clear glass frames, as well as decoupage techniques to decorate various surfaces.

By the end, you'll have a one-of-a-kind wood bookmark ready to use, a beautiful framed art piece to hang, and the knowledge and inspiration to keep pressing and creating after class.
